Significant Increase of Physician Hiring in Physician Offices

In the first quarter of 2011 positions hired in physician practice offices increased by 3 times compared to the first quarter of 2010. The Bureau of Labor and Statistics reported increases in both physician offices and hospitals. Physician offices added 16,500 jobs in the first quarter of 2011 and hospitals added 19,600 jobs. Both are significant increases to the number of jobs added from the first quarter of 2010.
